My favourite book!

Hi bloggers! Today’s topic is about my favourite book!

Well, this is a hard topic for me because being honest I usually don’t read books so I’m going to talk you about one of the few books I’ve read that I really liked.

“Los trenes se van al purgatorio” (The trains go to purgatory) of the Chilean writer Hernán Rivera Letelier.

This book gathers the different stories of the passengers of the train. When you read this book you travel to the north of Chile, to the Pampa where the miners used to dig out the saltpeter. The essence of these stories is a reflection of the society of those days.

The story is involved in a mysterious atmosphere that the desert of Atacama provides.

When the reader approaches to the end of the book feels astonished because he realized that all the characters are death since a lot of time ago and that the train represents the purgatory where their souls are.

Hernán Rivera Letelier has a singular way of relate so he became one of my favourites writers.
